Introduction of Jen

Welcome to my blog! My name is Jen and it’s nice to meet you. I am rather new at the whole blogging thing. I have not gotten to the point yet where when I sit down and get ready to make a post that my words hardly ever make any sense at all. I think my whole problem is that I am over thinking things. That is a major issue I have with myself along with rambling on about nothing..
I think this is the part where I tell you something about who is Jen. I like to refer to myself as a Domestic Engineer. That sounds sooo much better than stay at home mom or housewife/ homemaker/dishwasher/cook/taxi service/able to perform magic by making a dollar stretch to ten. I am 31 years old. I have so far raised a 15 year old son, who shall turn 16 in March, along with a 13 year old daughter. I have been with my husband for going on 17 years and married almost 14 of those.
I am an avid reader. I love books. I could spend hours in a bookstore. I like shopping in flea markets, discount stores or even thrift stores for books. It never ceases to amazes me the books that I can find for nearly nothing. Although I am running out of room to put them but I can not seem to help myself. I have several favorite authors and find new favorites all the time. I don’t even know where I would start. I am going to keep a list of all the books that I read this year. I guess I could add that on here couldn’t I?
I like doing all kinds of crafts. I don’t do any big projects because my attention span begins to wonder and I never finish the big ones. I like working with wood. I have made several small jewelry boxes and things of that nature. I find it peaceful sanding and staining wood. Yep! I know that sounds like I am ding bat for sure!
